SPCA Visit

The visit of the SPCA to our school really made me feel sad. I was shocked that some people could pay for animals and then treat them so horribly. If someone had asked me for money for the SPCA right after I finished looking at that ppt, I would have given it to them in an instant. It also made me realize that there were some incredibly good people out there that were willing to devote their time and effort to helping animals.

A great idea would to make a contest of some sort to raise money for the SPCA, maybe a contest between the 4 houses to raise the most money. It would raise lots of money if we were challenged to give, instead of just asked.

leaders

My idea of a leader is someone who can inspire people to have courage. Also it is if someone makes people unite for a common cause, like what Martin Luther King Jr. did to the African American. Alone they were no threat to the government and to segregation, but together they could defeat segregation. I did Martin Luther King Jr. for my night of the notables in 5th grade, and I feel realy connected to him

Courage

My Idea of couage is to be able to face your fears, whatever they are. If you are not afraid of snakes, then holding one is not showing that much courage. If you are, then holding a snake would show lots of courage. Courage could even be being a friend with someone unpopular.

A word of advice: If you are not looking for a blog is solely for me to insert my homework into, then you're in the wrong place. Go on, shoo, go away, go and hang out on some cool blogs. If you are then come right in...
